*Smooth ride-- appears
to be the best riding ambulances that this system has ever
had
*Dust free
compartments-- no longer are we finding dust in any of the
compartments
*Safety features--it
appears LifeLine has incorporated safety into the
manufacture of their units from the box to features that can
be added to the unit. We added the O2 lift, and a dual
attendant panel so staff member are not having to move about
the patient compartment so much.
*User friendliness--In
the event we need a part we contact our dealer and have it
within 2 days usually
*Customer
friendliness--The dealer and the manufacturer appear to be
very involved with their customers
*No need for putting
it out to bids--a cooperative purchase agreement allows for
governmental agencies to attach to a contract so there is no
need for the bidding process
*Customization--the
unit is completely customizable and built to our
satisfaction. Units will have minor cosmetic changes but
will be built the same inside according to our standards
*Dave Ediger our
Deputy Chief-- was involved in a roll-over accident
in Ulysses Kansas and attributes being alive today due to
the build and integrity of the LifeLine box.
*Ability to re-mount--
The LifeLine ambulance is able to be remounted with the box
being completely restored. All the cabinets are taken out,
wiring, lighting, holes filled and able to be customized to
our specs again for about 70% of an entire ambulance
*Whelen Emergency
Lights-- All of our emergency lighting at Miami County EMS
is done through Whelen. LifeLine utilizes Whelen Emergency
Lights and sirens, which allows for a streamlined process.
All lighting is done through Whelen for parts, Ford does all
of our Chassis, and LifeLine does the ambulance piece. All
allowing for parts to come from only 3 places for the entire
fleet
